Doubts and uncertainty about official reports on OVNI

The Project Blue Book ( Project Blue Book ) Is the code name of the committee active since March 1952 (but already founded in 1948) in December 1969 to investigate the UFO phenomenon on behalf of ' Areonautica U.S. Military ( USAF ). Based Air Base Wright-Patterson , In Dayton nell'Ohio, the Project Blue Book had several people in the management, first Edward J. Ruppelt and further Hector Quintanilla . The main objective of the group was to analyze and produce reports designed to explain reassure the public . The information you provide to the public, however, were so contradictory and inconsistent that people began to lose confidence nell'Aereonautica Military and suspect he was hiding something.
The reports of this committee were picked up by another committee, the Robertson Jury (in charge ' ATIC Or Air Technical Intelligence Center , Technical Information Center dell'Aereonautica ), Which met in Washington in January 1953 to express an opinion based on data of the Project Blue Book. This congress marked a crucial point because the established official policy of the U.S. (and reflected in many other states) to discredit the phenomenon to the general public.
In this climate of downsizing was drawn to the Regulation U.S. Military dell'Aereonautica No 200-2 ( Air Force Regulation 200-2 or AFR 200-2 ), Which formalized the so-called " policy of silence "Conduct on the UFO question by the authorities. Officially establish responsibilities and procedures for reporting information and evidence on UFOs and to release information to the public generally."
The AFR 200-2 was valid for the next 15 years, until the final report of Commission of Inquiry on Civil UFO established in 1966 at the ' University of Boulder in Colorado. Produced the document that was given the name of the physical Condon , Director of the committee. It was completed in'68 and published the following year, after the approval of ' National Academy of Sciences of the United States . The original edition was printed by composed of three volumes of 1465 pages total. This had the effect of deleting the official investigations on the phenomenon. Of course you can not know whether the University of Colorado has come to the conclusions of the Condon report of its own volition or were made outside pressures.
Several authoritative ufologist challenged and brought out the contradictions of the Condon report, among them Dr. Hynek , Dr. McDonald , A. Michel and in particular Dr. David R. Saunders (former member of the committee) who published almost simultaneously, a counter-report entitled " UFOs? Yes! ".
In essence one may have doubts about all these committees, which draw on the conclusions and think that the U.S. government probably wanted to hide something.
